Summer is the perfect time to start resetting your health habits! With longer days and warmer weather, it's a great opportunity to try new things and build healthy habits. We've got a few tips for you:
1. Set reasonable goals for yourself first. Don't think about running a marathon next week or losing ten pounds overnight—those goals aren't healthy, and they won't last. Instead, try setting a goal to get outside for a walk after work every day, or eat one extra serving of vegetables at dinner each night.
2. Make it fun! There are so many ways to exercise that don't feel like working out—you can dance, play frisbee, go rock climbing, take outdoor yoga classes, or even just have an outdoor picnic with your friends where you walk to the park instead of driving. Choose something you'd actually enjoy doing, and you'll be more likely to do it!
3. Track your progress! It's not always easy to measure when you're building healthy habits, but you can still keep track of what works and what doesn't. Try journaling every night about how your day went (did you reach your health goals? What could be better?), or use an app to track the number of steps you take.
